“Growing up in rural Wisconsin, running with Labradors through rolling fields, gathering wildflowers, visiting our kind neighbor’s farm, filling our home with music, and reveling in the beauty of each season was magical soil for growing imaginations and a deep love for the out of doors. Sharing this treasure with my husband, our children and their cousins was an immeasurable blessing.” Darcy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was a teacher for 35 years, a writer of children’s musicals, and is “grandma” to her cherished grandchildren.
Sue is Darcy’s sister! They loved growing up together in the peacefulness and beauty of the Wisconsin countryside. Now, they are loving chasing a dream together in their company, Singing Tractor Children’s Books, LLC. Sue graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Consumer Science, has a background in sales and marketing, and serves as their manuscript editor and business manager. Sue and her husband, Bob, their children and precious grandchildren currently reside in Wisconsin.
Aedan Peterson is an illustrator and visual developer born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He’s been busy for the last few years, illustrating The Story of God Trilogy, Pembrick’s Creaturepedia, The Timefall Trilogy and The Tree Street Kids books. He’s also delved into the world of animation working as a character designer and background artist for The Wingfeather Saga animated series. When he’s not planting trees with his wife or playing with his daughter, he can be found bird watching, or eating chips and salsa, or doing both at the same time.
